It isn't holiday season if I don't make some form of a garland. In past years I have done a candy corn pom garland and a bat and spider pomn garland so this year we are mixing it up and going with a tassel garland with some ghosts. My favorite DIY's are ones that involve supplies I already own which in girl math means it is free. This Halloween DIY only uses yarn, felt, wood beads, string and glue; all common craft materials you probably have laying around. This DIY is also an easy one for kids to assist you with and only takes about an hour in total.
Read MoreHalloween is my favorite time of the year because it means creepy decor, creative crafting, falling leaves and brisk weather. This is the first year I can decorate an outside area to entice trick-or-treaters so naturally I had to make a spooky wreath to hang. With the snakes of different sizes and the solid, glossy black finish, it feels high end and like the wreath is actually moving. This DIY uses few supplies and is extremely cheap, easy and quick to complete.
Read MoreHalloween decor should be fun and spooky, bonus points if you can get creative and make it yourself. These Candy Corn poms are cute and unlike their food form, will be loved by all. Making a pom garland is quick, easy and cheap which makes it the perfect craft activity for kids or a cozy Fall day spent on the couch watching TV.

Of course wands can exist in any magical realm so feel free to roam far and wide when sourcing inspiration. In the end no two wands are the same. So gather some wood, sandpaper, paint, clay and/or a hot glue gun, plus some magic and here we go.
Read MoreI am always looking to spice up my Halloween decor, whether for a Halloween party or to be the spookiest spot on the block. Using jars and vases from the craft store, flea market, or even a mason jar, you can have a great way to store candy or party utensils, a vase for a skull bouquet, a fun way to light up your porch, or just a unique way to make your space more haunted. This DIY is perfect for kids, for enjoying a nice fall day outside, or watching Hocus Pocus for the seventh hundred time. This DIY only takes a couple supplies and THREE steps, that’s right, three.
Read MoreBouquets are one of the easiest ways to decorate your space and so, I took some inspiration from Day of the Dead (dia de los Muertos), and made a skull bouquet. Two of the main forms of imagery are Calavera, sugar skulls, and Cempasúchitl, Marigolds. So I took to finding some small skulls and some giant fake marigolds and make a centerpiece-worthy bouquet for any Halloween or Day of the Dead celebrating home.
Read MoreI decided to take my previous Pom Garland DIY and spook-ify it for the Halloween season by turning the poms into spiders and bats. Halloween decor is always so much fun and this option is cheap, quick and easy for adults or kids to make. For many we are uncertain of how Halloween and trick-or-treating will present itself this year but that doesn’t mean we still can’t decorate the inside and outside of our houses.

I knew I wanted to use creepy, bloody eyeballs for a couple halloween projects but when I looked online, eyeballs were either insanely expensive or they were cheap looking. Using just clay, paint, chalk pastel and some resin you have a perfectly gross eye.
